About This Hymn

When we gather together to worship as God's people, God promises to meet us through the Word and Table.  We come with great need to our great God who promises to put us back together through the work of Jesus and the ongoing ministry of the Holy Spirit.  He knows our needs, he welcomes the lost, he bore our sins on the cross.  What else can this inspire in us than songs of loudest praise?  So we lift up our voices with loud praises to Jesus as we sing with angels and saints perfected above.
