Trygstad Music exists to create hymns so that the Word of Christ (Colossians 3:16) would resonate in our hearts, moving our affections, imagination, and intellect to respond in Spirit-filled praise and devotion to Christ Jesus to the glory of God the Father.

About Alex

Alex Trygstad is a Hymn Writer and Worship Leader, dedicated to creating Word-saturated hymns to support the Church's worship and teaching.  He seeks to write hymns that are deeply rooted in Scripture, lyrically engaging, and musically compelling while being accessible to and singable by average church-goers.  His debut album, Christ Our Hope, released in 2020, and his hymns are used regularly in worship at several churches in the US.  He is currently working on a second album, Lead Us In Your Truth: Hymns for the Liturgies of Grace, that contains hymns that support  each element of a Sunday morning worship service.
