About This Hymn

When the COVID-19 pandemic began, the words of hope on the lips of folks in my church was "Jesus reigns."  Especially in that time, and in every age of God's people, our hearts are strengthened by the certain hope that Jesus is alive, he is reigning upon his throne, and one day he will establish his kingdom upon this earth.  As we wait for him, we live in light of his resurrection power - the power that raised Jesus from the dead is the same power at work within us.  What a glorious hope!
